Inclusive in your stay - our vehicle and guide will take you to visit Victoria Falls today and share our beautiful town with you. There are many additional experiences that you may want to do - our driver guide will take you there, wait for you and bring you home safely at the end of the day. These outsourced activities are extra and for your own account - or may be billed into your itinerary.
A magnet for tourists of all descriptions, Victoria Falls is one of Earth’s great spectacles. View it directly as a raging mile-long curtain of water, in all its glory, from a helicopter ride or peek precariously over its edge from Devil's Pools - the sheer power and force of the Falls is something that simply does not disappoint.
Livingstone is now a town - but was formerly the Zambian Capital City! Named after the Scottish Explorer, Dr. David Livingstone. Livingstone’s culture and history is intriguing. Originally known as the Old Drift, Livingstone owes its existence primarily to the Victoria Falls and was established as a staging point across the Zambezi River. Dr. David Livingstone’s journey and first sight of the Falls in 1855 opened up Central Africa to other missionaries, hunters and traders. History lovers will find Livingstone alive! Livingstone was founded in 1905 at a safe distance from the then swampy banks of the Zambezi. In 1907 it became the capital of what was known as Northern-Western Rhodesia. In 1911 it became the capital of Northern Rhodesia, what is today called Zambia. In 1935 the capital was moved to Lusaka, but Livingstone retained its "Tourist Capital" status as well as much of its original colonial character. Many buildings from the first decade of the century are still in use. The town has preserved much of its colonial character, but is a typical African town with bustling charm. Rich in scenery and heritage, Livingstone today has become the tourist heart of Zambia.
